6.1 Swimming and crystallization
- During melting, the crystallic grate is destroyed, and when crystallized, it recovers. For pure matter, at constant pressure, the transition occurs at a certain temperature.
6.2 Evaporation, boiling and humidity
- Evaporation comes from the surface at any temperature, boiling all over the volume at a saturated vapour pressure equal to the outside, quick molecules leave the liquid and cool it.
6.3. Fuel engines
- The heat engine cycled from the heater, part turned into mechanical work, and the rest passed on to the refrigerator. It was impossible to completely convert heat to work.
