14.1 Mechanical variations
The amplitude sets the maximum deviation, the period is the time of the full cycle.
14.2 Mechanical waves
- The wave spreads oscillating state and energy between areas of the environment, the particles of the medium fluctuate near equilibrium and do not travel with the wave over long distances.
14.3 Sound
- Sound is a mechanical wave of the sound spectrum. Height is mainly associated with frequency, volume, intensity, and amplitude.
