Study route
25.1 Amper force
- The magnetic field operates on the conductor with current because it acts on the moving charges inside it. The force is maximum when the conductors and fields are perpendicular.
25.2. Lorenz force
The magnetic force of Lorenz is perpendicular to the speed and therefore does not do the work.
25.3 Magnetic properties of the substance
- The substance changes the magnetic field because of orbital motion and electron backs. Reactions can weaken the field, slightly reinforce it, or create stable domains.
