Study route
20.1. System pulse
A change in the pulse of the system equals that of the external forces, the internal forces are decreasing in pairs, so the impulse is maintained for the closed system.
20.2 Work and potential fields
- The force work is equal to the integral rate of transmission of energy during displacement. For potential forces, work is independent of the path and equal to loss of potential energy.
20.3 Movement of liquid and gas
- For a steady flow of uncompressable fluid, the volume passing through different sections of the tube in a second is the same. Speed increases are accompanied by changes in pressure and altitude.
